If you've been to A Midsummer Night's Green in the past, you know that food and drink is an important part of the experience. Classy, creative, and always delicious, we work with our caterers to offer a menu that matches the spirit and purpose of the occasion - to celebrate local innovation and foster a sense of community.
While our virtual format means we can't offer our usual catered spread, USGBC National Capital is thrilled to partner with two local businesses, Founding Farmers and Serenata, to provide A Midsummer Night's Green attendees with the option of ordering dinner and beverages for pick-up or delivery, as well as the opportunity to participate in a brief online cocktail mixing class during the networking reception portion of the event.
Food and drink orders are separate from event registration. Please make sure to register for the event. Read on for more information on food and drink options and how to order.
ORDER DINNER & DRINKS FROM FOUNDING FARMERS
Event attendees living in the National Capital Region may order a three-course dinner for pick-up or delivery, including a mocktail which may be turned into a cocktail, from Founding Farmers. Vegan and vegetarian options are available. Dinner for one is $67; dinner for two is $110. Orders will be taken until July 19 for delivery or pick up on July 22 or 23. Orders may be placed using this form.
TAKE AN ONLINE COCKTAIL MIXING CLASS WITH SERENATA
During the networking reception portion of the event, guests may opt to attend a virtual cocktail/mocktail mixing class with Serenata. We will learn to mix two cocktails. Ingredients may be ordered from Serenata for pick-up ahead of time here. The Serenata ingredients package will serve 2 people with two cocktails/mocktails each and includes chips and bean dip. The cost is $50. You may also purchase ingredients on your own (drink descriptions and recipes are below), but we invite you to consider supporting this local business!

Directions for Ordering
Once you have clicked the link, please select "Schedule for later" in the "Order for Pick-up" box. You must set your pick up date and time between July 20 at 11:30 am and July 23 at 2 pm. Once you have set your pick up time, select Cocktail Classes from the menu across the middle of the page. Then select "USGBC Private Class 7.23.30."
Delivery can be arranged separately through Skip the Line once you have placed your order with Serenata.
